Here we go with the 80’s! Join the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Omicron Mu Omega Chapter as we partner with the Legacy of Service Foundation to host the "Klassic 80’s – A Night to Remember”. Pull out your elegant and flashy 80’s attire, fluff up your hair, and come ready to party!
We will have so much fun as we celebrate the 80's in style. The night will feature tunes spun by your DJ that will keep your feet moving, contests and a 50/50 raffle.
Appetizers will be served with a cash bar available.
Regular admission tickets are $50+processing fees.
VIP tables for 10 will be available in limited supply for $650+ processing fees.
VIP tables will include reserved seating and fast check-in to avoid lines.
Free parking will be available on a first come basis.

Proceeds will benefit the Legacy of Service Foundation (501c3) afterschool, mentoring and scholarship programs that assist youth in developing leadership capabilities and achieving their scholastic goals. Since 1986, the Legacy of Service Foundation has prepared more than 100 students annually for college and high school through our programs and by provide scholarships for higher education. The Legacy of Service Foundation in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Mu Omega Chapter will host the 29th Image Award Recognition at the Black Academy of Arts and Letters, 1309 Canton St., Dallas, TX 75202, September 22nd honoring Evelyn Hamilton.
Ms. Hamilton has created many opportunities for students in the Dallas Community through her work as a Music teacher with DISD, and philanthropic work with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Phi Delta Kappa, and Top Ladies of Distinction. She has actively worked to develop young men and women through after school, mentoring, and leadership programs.
Ms. Hamilton is recognized for her musicality and ability to use music to create pathways to success for many students. The lessons her students have learned through her classes have instilled in them the qualities and focus that has catapulted many of them to extraordinary success. Her past students are in various fields including medical, legal, education, business, and the arts.
As the Image Award recipient, Ms. Hamilton is being recognized for these works for which she has logged more than 50 hours annually. She continues to support several initiatives that provide opportunities for people in Dallas.
As a perpetual honor, Ms Hamilton will have an endowed scholarship named in her honor to provide financial support to students for many years to come. During the Image Award reception and beyond, persons may make a tax deductible donation to the Evelyn Foster Hamilton Endowed Scholarship and help us to create a legacy that ensures Ms. Hamilton's impact on student's success will live in the years to come.
The Image Award honors outstanding citizens who have made significant contributions in the community. On September 22nd please join us as we honor Evelyn Foster Hamilton.
